Beverage store
German: Getränkemarkt Also known as: Getränkeabholmarkt, Getränkeshop
A store with a wide range of drinks in crates and multipacks, usually with deposit return and self-collection.
A beverage store is a shop specialised in drinks. It offers beer, water, soft drinks, juices, wine and spirits, often in crates, cartons and multipacks. Customers collect the goods themselves or have them delivered.
Empties return is central: reusable crates and deposit bottles are handed back and refunded by voucher or offset. Many stores also rent equipment and advise on celebrations. Many stores price by the litre, and offers for larger quantities are common, for example for parties or clubs.
