Home delivery service
German: Heimdienst Also known as: Getränkelieferdienst, Getränkeheimdienst, Getränkelieferservice
A delivery service that brings crates of drinks to the door and takes the empties away in return.
A beverage home delivery service brings orders to households and businesses and collects the empties on the next trip. Goods are usually delivered along planned routes on fixed days or within agreed time windows.
For customers the benefit is not having to carry crates or return bottles. For the operator, route planning, vehicle utilisation, deposit management and clean documentation of deliveries and returns are decisive. Customers can often agree fixed delivery days or regular deliveries, which simplifies planning for both sides.
