Agreed price and delivery terms between supplier and trader, such as discounts, payment period and minimum quantities.
Terms are the conditions of a sales transaction. They include discounts, cash discount, payment periods, minimum order quantities, delivery costs, bonuses and rules on empties.
In beverage trading terms are often tiered: the more purchased, the cheaper the buying. They are negotiated individually and fixed in contracts or price lists. Besides price, soft factors such as delivery time, reliability and the handling of empties and returns count, and in daily business these are often as important as a discount.
