Taproom

German: Taproom (Brauereiausschank) Also known as: Brauereiausschank, Schankraum

A bar attached to a brewery that serves the brewery's own freshly tapped beer.

A taproom is a room belonging directly to a brewery in which its beers are served freshly tapped. It links production and serving and gives the brewery direct contact with guests.

In the craft scene it is an important sales channel since new or experimental batches can be tried there immediately. In German-speaking countries it partly corresponds to the brewery tavern, brewhouse or tasting room.
