Crowler

Also known as: Can-Growler

A large can filled at the tap and sealed by a machine.

A crowler is a large can, usually holding around one litre, that is filled at the tap and then sealed airtight with a machine. The name combines the words can and growler.

The advantage over the growler is better sealing and light-tightness, so the beer stays fresh longer. A crowler can, however, only be used once.
